Travel itinerary plays a very important role in the tour reception program. A well-made itinerary contributes to the smooth implementation of a travel program. Therefore, prior to the arrival of a tour group, the tour guide or the tour coordinator is normally required to make a detailed study of the reception program and draft a preliminary itinerary with reference to the age-bracket, occupations and tastes of all the group members.
