On Improving English Reading Ability in Middle School Introduction Nowadays，English is not only some countries’ second language but also a popular language in the world. In order to get more useful information rapidly and develop the areas’ economic development, more and more people begin to learn English. Some one says that “If you know little about computer or English in this age, you will be abandoned by the society.” This reveals the importance of learning English now. Though most of the students in China begin to learn English from primary school, some of them can’t learn it well. Especially the English reading, it is a big obstruction for them.
