N ationalM eteorologicalObservatory of Zhangye, Zhangye 73 000, China) Abs tract: U tilizing the observation data of dust aerosolwh ich has been measured byW PS particles spectrometer in the northw est ofOngin Daga Sandland of the InnerM onoglia Autonomous Region of China in spring in 2006, and w ith the meteorological observation data, the characteristics of number concentration, spectral d istribution and transportation in sandyw eatherw ere analyzed and discussed. The resu lts show that: ( 1) The daily change charac teristics of d ifferent grain size dust aerosols are sign ificant w ith wt o peak tmi e intervals at about sunrise and sunset periods.
