As Chinas second largest trading partner, The United States occupies a pivotal position in Chinas foreign trade. After the 2008 financial crisis, China and the United States often have trade friction, China-US trade has become a hot topic of the global economy. This paper analyzed the two countries in trade situation between 2008-2012, and to illustrate trade relations between the two countries in a trade theory.
The trade situation between the two countries from 2008 to 2012 is as follows:
First, the amount of Sino-US trade balance

We can see from Figure 1-1: 2005 to 2012 the overall Sino-US trade volume rendering high rate of growth, bilateral trade increased from $ 285.3 billion in 2005, increased to $ 536.234 billion in 2012, an increase of 88 %, showing that the fast pace of development in bilateral trade, but also reflects the increasingly close Sino-US economic and trade relations. But that is a partial year 2008-2009, 2010-2012 Sino-US bilateral trade volume shows a decreasing trend.
