In recent years, the speed of Chinas wind power development continues to accelerate the rapid growth of wind power installed capacity, the continuous development of wind power installed capacity unit. However, due to the relatively weak basis, the process of development of wind power is facing backward technology, the system is not smooth, many of the difficulties of tariff. China should improve the standard of wind power technology and wind power equipment, and improve wind power pricing with Internet access mechanism, and further expansion of wind power installed capacity, and enhance the strategic position of the wind power in the energy structure. From a global perspective, the paper describes the wind effect and the advantages and disadvantages, the present situation and prospects of the worlds wind power applications, the progress of the world wind power applications, wind power generation equipment, the characteristics of wind power generation and power generation situation in China, wind power generation applications, progress and outlook and so on.
