The following list gives a good example of what should be checked when doing a visual examination. Dimensions, Gauge, Angles, Penetration, Fusion, Undercut, Over roll, Cracks, Shrinkage grooves, Alignment, Overlap, Surface pores/condition, Heat numbers, Lot numbers, batch numbers, colors etc. All visual examination requirements will be to meet the technical requirements.
