This material has a favorable combination of strength and elasticity. The friction of these cages is low and they have excellent running properties under adverse conditions. The operating temperature range for the cage exceeds that of the grease with which the bearings are filled. * Four Basic Series of available which differ in inner ring width and shaft locking method. Set Screw mounting should be used in applications where the direction of rotation alternates. * Eccentric Collar locking is suitable in applications where the direction of rotation is constant. Two series are available: one has an extended inner ring on both sides. * For more demanding application conditions, an interference fit may be required. Apply standard fit tolerance as for unhoused bearings, whether the interference fit is accomplished with an adapter sleeve or by press fit. * * The RF Seal is the new standard on SKF unit Ball Products.
