Unit9 My favorite subject is science Section A 教学目标: Section A mainly lets students learn to ask and talk about their favorite subjects with other people, meanwhile, students should learn to show their reasons to others. What’s more, grasping the usage of special questions guided by “wh-” as well as its corresponding answers is required during this part. For example: What’s your favorite ......? My favorite......is........ Why do/ does....? Because....... Who is/are......? When is/are…..? Teaching and learning steps : Review 1. The art festival is in January. (画线部分提问)________________________. 2. 图书销售日在三月六号。(翻译)________________________________ 3. When is Teachers’ Day? It’s __________________________________. 4. He likes strawberries for lunch. (画线部分提问)_______________________. 5. My English teacher is Ms. Liu. (画线部分提问) _______________________. Activity Form(活动形式): divide the whole class into 12 groups , at first ,let Ss write their answers of the questions on their exercise book. And then teacher draws lots(抽签). The groups that are chose come to the front to write their answers. If they did right, an award will be given. 设计意图: 通过此活动的复习,既查试了学生对上单元的掌握情况又能引导出本节课的要讲的主要句型。 Guiding-in Look at the pictures and say the subject that the picture relates to. For example: T: What subject is it? S1: It is Science. T: What subject is it? S2: It is ……. ____________________ _____________________ ______________________ _______________________ _________________________ ____________________________ __________________________ ________________________ Activity Form: “quick answer”, teacher says “ready go”, the student who stand up first get the opportunity to show the answer.
