boost:
1). to increase or improve something and make it more successful 促进,提高

2) also boost up to help someone reach a higher place by lifting or pushing them:帮助,提升

spare: vt. to decide not to hurt or destroy something or someone.

Slash:

2) to greatly reduce an amount, price etc - used especially in newspapers and advertising大幅削减

ambush: If a group of people ambush their enemies, they attack them after hiding and waiting for them
