湖北省二轮复习备考会PPT演讲脚本 Page 1: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, distinguished fellow teachers from in and out of wuhan. I really appreciate your being here with me. Let me first quote Confucius: “Is it not a delight to have friends coming from afar?” However, it may not be a delight for me to sit here and give a long talk, lasting over an hour, which is actually beyond my range. Page 2: As Master Lin Yutang put it, “A good lecture is supposed to be like a skirt—the shorter, the better.” Neverthess, I will be lecturing like a Mama for one and half hours. And I bet you guys must be in sympathy with me, hating those lengthy lectures. There might be an exeption: the lecture itself is not a mini-skirt, but an attractive evening dress. But how can I make an evening dress which doesn’t look dull and stereotyped as an inexperienced tailor myself? That is just why I have been stressed out up until now. Page 3: In a sense, we have come all the way here with the expectation that we might pick up some practical and constructive approaches or suggestions, which we can apply to our teaching in the following 2 months or so. As most of us believe in the ancient wisdom: that stones from other hills may serve to polish our own jade. It reveals the truth that other’s experiences, whether successful or not, can be lessons. That’s the belief I have come here with: to share with you and above all, to learn from you. Page 4: Roughly, my presentation will cover 3 aspects: first, review of the latest cloze test in NMET Hubei. Second, review of the latest reading comprehension. And third, how we prepare students for the NMET Hubei in the following 2 months.
