Studies on Effect of Constant-release Melatonins on the Express of Cashmere Growth Related Genes SOX21 ，Noggin and BMP4 Abstact The experiment with the major study Secondary hair follicle functions recession relate genes sox21 ，bmp4 and Noggin，We persistently implanted melatonin to Inner Mongolia Cashmere goats for two years, and studied the express of SOX21 ，BMP4 and Noggin gene in the skin of Inner Mongolia Cashmere goats. We have known about the fuction of these three genes and the effects of melatonin on them. Simultaneously, we eager to reveal the mechanization of cashmere growth by the cashmere′s grow-cycle. Data of Real- time PCR had been analysed, results as follows ： 1. ， Data analysed by SPSS17.0 explain that age and variability makes no significant effect on the expression of genes. 2. The effect of melatonin on the expression of SOX21 mainly in the telogen and earlier stage of anagen, but no significantly effect on the later stage of anagen. 3. The effect of two years constant-release melatonin is more gentle than one year, it’s indicate that two years constant-release melatonin decrease the stress of treated cashmere, it will make for the steady of melatonin’s effect. 4. Melatonin significantly affects the express of BMP4 on the anagen, but on the telogen no significantly effects ； Melatonin didn’t change the expression of Noggin gene 、 、 in January Feburary March and October, but the rest months had been changed, especially up-regulate the April’s ；Melatonin has no significant effects on the ratio of BMP4 and Noggin gene ， in other words, melatonin has little effects on the interactional of them. 5.
