英诗选读 第5讲 吴伟雄 基本格律复习 1、诗的基本结构 诗（ a poem）— 诗节（stanza 或 strophe）— 诗行（line或verse）— 音步（foot） ①音步：组成诗行的、由一定数目的重读音节和非重读音节按一定规律组成的单位。 ②格律：是依照每一音步重读音节（扬）和非重读音节（抑）的排列方式，把音步分成不同的格式。 ③常见的诗歌格律有哪四种？（见以前课件） 2、完整音步与不完整音步 ①完整音步：每个音步的格律相同。 ②不完整音步：诗行最末一个音步少一个音节。 3、格律的变异 ①“统一”中有变化：英语诗歌的格律并非总是固定和绝对工整的，无论是音步的数目还是格律的形式常有变化，从而形成不同的风格。这叫统一中有变化。 ②“统一”是主旋律：即主流格律, 即总体音律节奏。 ICE: Complete the rhyme in these lines: ①The tree was a queen / Dressed in garments of ______. ②The Sultan comes / To the sound of the _______. ③It’s the sound of the breeze / Through the leaves of the _______ . ④Nothing but the best / Should be offered the _____. ⑤A bird needs its feathers / For all kinds of _______. ⑥The flashes of lightening / Were bright and ______.
