给开头： Einstein once said, “Education is…”. Today in the English class, l learned a sentence which goes like this,“…” 衔接基本没问题： I can’t agree more. I take it to mean that the most important thing we learn at school is not knowledge but the experience about how to be a noble man…. …From my perspective, the quote conveys an idea that, when it comes to education, what really matters is the principle learned in school of being a kind and noble person and the deep-going (long-lasting; far-reaching; profound) influence (effect; impact) exerted on us by our teachers, rather than knowledge itself. While it can’t be denied that knowledge is useful (…changes one’s life/ …makes a difference to one’s life), there is no doubt that knowledge does not equal education. Nor is education a simple accumulation of knowledge. It is a treasure opportunity to shape our personality, to get into fine habits and to learn to obey disciplines. It is not the knowledge aquired in school but the process of learning that matters because in the process, we learn to learn, learn to do and learn to be. Real education is not just to equip students with knowledge but to help them grow and be a true man. However it is a pity that most schools attach too much importance to marks and grades and ignore quality education, which accounts for some bad results. For example, a student in Beijing University killed his mother. It indicates that a good command of knowledge can never guarantee an individual’s quality. 举例容易出问题：无例可举或是举例不当 When we say someone is well educated, we usually don’t mean how much he knows about the world around him or how high his scores are, or even what great achievements he has made. We say so when he doesn’t litter, no matter where he is, when he doesn’t run the red light even if there is no one around and when he doesn’t smoke if it is not allowed. 举例容易出问题：无例可举或是举例不当 We say so when he shows enough respect for others and puts himself in others’ shoes, when he plays fair, when he
