Revision and Lead-in Revise the sports things students’ have learned. Make a survey. Ask students the things they have and the things they don’t have. Do you have a soccer? Yes, I do. I have a soccer ball. / No, I don’t. I don’t soccer ball. Step 2. Presentation: Reading Read the survey results the first time, and finish the following two tasks: Task 1: Underline the new words when you read the passage. Task 2: Answer the question: Who has a soccer ball? Ask some student to show the answer to the question and where the answer is in the passage. Chcek the answer . Task 3: Finish the exercises of 2c on P29. Task 4: Finish the exercises. (seen in the ppt.) Fill in the blanks and guess the meanings of the words. (seen in the ppt. Step 3. Consolidation: Writing Ask students to use the sports things they have learned to Write a sentence as following: I like sports. I have a ________and a________, but I don’t have a ________. Step 4.
