Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen ,I’m contestant No.36.My name is Tian Lijuan.I come from EME International Training School. I’m appreciate to be here to share my teaching design with you ,the specialist in teaching ,so I really hope you can give me your valuable advice.Thank you.
Today I’m going to talk about the new lesson ,Lesson 137 “A pleasant dream” from NCE1.My instruction contains seven parts :they are Analysis of the Teaching Material ,Analysis of the students ,The Teaching Methods,Teaching Aims ,Teaching Aids ,Teaching Procedure ,Blackboard Design and Conclusion
Part 1. Analysis of the Teaching Material
(1) .Lesson type:Dialogue
(2) .Status and function
This lesson is mainly about describing persons’different dreams . Let the students talk about what their dreams are now. The content of this lesson is closely related to students’daily life, so it’s easy to encourage them to communicate with others by using what they have learned in this lesson.
Part 2 .Analysis of the students.
(1) Junior Middle School students
(2) .Learn English for almost one year
(3) To take a great interest in English
Part 3.Teaching methods
(1)Five-step teaching method
(2)TBLT(Task-based Language Teaching )
(3)Situational teaching method
(TBLT can stimulate Ss initiative in learning ,and develop their abilities in language application. That make Ss the real masters in class ,while the teacher himself acts as the director and bring their abilities into a full play .Thus ,Student-centered teaching method is well shown.)
