Enable the students to learn how to express different time in their daily life. 2. Enable them to grasp four new words and use them into the sentences skillfully. Key Points: 1. … o’clock and different time. 2. Get up, go to school, go home, go to bed. 3. Learn “It’s time to … … .” and revise “It’s time to … … .” Difficulties: It’s time to … … . Teaching Aids: Word cards, numbers cards, PPT, tape, clocks and so on. Teaching procedures: Ⅰ Warm-up Have the students chant with the teacher. Revise the numbers from 1 to 60 and play games. Ⅱ Presentation and drilling Show a clock to the students and remind old content of last lesson, then make sentences by themselves. eg: It’s … … o’clock. It’s time for … … . Get the students to look the big screen and guess what time it is now. eg: It’s 6:30/ 7:05/ 4:35/ 9:00. Ⅲ Drilling and practice Let the student drill in groups. Ask them to look at the clock and choose the right answers. Get them to listen to the recording and sing a song of “What time is it?”, then follow it. Cheng the different time and let the students sing together. Ⅳ Presentation and drilling Get the students look at the big screen and guess what time it is, then do the actions and let them spell four new phrases. eg: get up, go to school, go home, go to bed Show different time and learn what we do at the certain time. eg: It’s 6:30. It’s time to get up. Do the actins and let the students say out, then say and have them do. Ask some students to come to the front and do. Let them chant with the teacher and drill in groups. Listen to the teacher and choose the right time as soon as possible. 7. Play the tape and have them read “Let’s learn” wholly. Ⅵ Learning the text Ask the students what time it is and learn the difficult words in this new text, then read after the teacher. Have them read two quest
