1. Teach the ss know how to use the sentences “when is your birthday?”
“how old are you?”“How old is..?When is his/her birthday?”
2.Ss talk about their birthday days. practice the new paterns. develop the students’ ability of communication by learning the useful structures.
3.Improve the students’ oral English and Listening skills.

Show some festivals in China ,ask Ss to say the dates of them
