课时(A,B
教学目标:
1 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词和词组slow, low, far, be good at ,more,
2 能听懂、会说、会读单词和词组high, fast, late, early, well, better
3 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写句型Ben runs faster than Jim.
4 能熟练掌握副词以及比较级的用法,并能在交际中口头运用副词比较级句型。
5 能初步理解A部分会话,并能熟练地朗读。
教学重、难点:
能正确理解、掌握四会单词和句型。
三、课前准备:
1 准备录音机和本课A部分的磁带。
2 准备B部分的图片。
3 课前写好本课的课题Unit 2B部分Look, read and learn。
4 多媒体课件。
四、教学过程:
A Free talk
Sing a song “I wish I was taller.” Together.
B Presentation and practice
1 T: Well, look at me, who’s taller than me?
S: xxx is taller than you.
T: Yes, I’m very tall, yes or no?
Ss: Yes.
T: So I’m good at running. (T does an action of running.)What about you? What are you good at?
S1: I’m good at jumping.
2. I like watching PE program, there’s a sports meeting in our school, let’s have a look. Who runs faster/jumps higher/jumps farther /skate better/swim slower?
(学生边看B部分的图边描述)
3.教higher lower
Su Hai and Su Yang like flying kites. look, whose kite is lower ?
Ben and David like playing model planes , look ,whose plane is higher?
4.教“earlier and later”
T: I go to bed at 10:00,my daughter goes to bed at 9:00,so she goes to bed earlier than me .who goes to bed earlier than me in our class?(用同样的方法教who gets up later than me ?)
5.学习课文,
①播放课文磁带引言部分
T: There’s a new friend Jim, do you want to know him ? Let’s listen to the tape.
T: What’s Jim good at ?and what does not he do well in ?
Ss: He is good at English and maths, but he does not do well in PE
T: Is he happy? what is he doing now ?
Ss: He is not happy, he is talking to his dad how to do better? What are they talking about?
②听录音到“but my friends swim faster than me.”听两遍,完成下面的表格。
T: what is Jim good at and what does not he do well in? Who does he compare with? listen then complete the form..
