What’s your family name? What’s your given name? Step 3Presentation Teachers’ activities Students’ activities Purpose It’s time to chant: Is it a cat or is it a dog? Is it a mouse or is it a frog? Can it run fast?Can it jump high? Can it swim well or fly in the sky? My pet is a cat. It’s not a dog, It’s not a mouse. It’s not a frog. It can’t swim or fly in the sky! It can run fast. It can jump high.. Listen to the tape and follow it. Practice by themselves and try to remember it. Train the students’ spoken English Step 4Practice What can the cat do? What can’t the cat do? It can run and jump. It can’t swim and fly. Practice what we learned today.
