Abstract
In order to standardize the marketing order of the medicine retail market,to
promote the positive development of the medicine retailing business,and to
guarantee the medicine quality and efficiency for patients,we have already
applied the studies of comparison and positivism and conducted systematic
analysi:’on the currcnlc situation of China’s medicine retail market,the existlng
problems and relative causes够well.We have also researched the supervision
functions of China’s govemment over the medicine retail market tllrough
comparing those medicine retail markets in developed countries.
Tlae positivist study shows that there黜many drawbacks in china’s medicine
retail market owing to the stagilant circulation of medichae,the disordered
1TlacIO-control by the government,imperfect laws and rules in supervision,
superficial management by tlae government and tlae poor performance ofdifferent
retailets and so on.The leasons are船follows:
扎The distribution oftlae retailers is irrational.
b.The purelaasing channel is disordered.
c.The licensed pbarrnacists are very short.
d.The business administration in these retail pharmacies is terrible.
e.The medieiae retail chain marketing is not standard.
£OTC system is halting.
By contrast,the medicine retail markets in developed countries such as the
United States of America,Japan and Great Britain are standard.Compared with
those.we still have a long way to go both in the construction of laws and
reguladons and in implementing ofmanagernent in classified med/cine.
Based 013 the positivist stIldy,we have analyzed all these factors that affect the
development of our medical system,pharmaceutical sectors,China’s entry into
WTO and the implement of management in classified medicine;we have
established our goals in China’s medicine retail market;and we have put forward
the following incasurcs that the Chinese government should practice effective
