Nowadays, due to the different phases of domestic lifecycle, which changes frequently, the requirement of living of youth is diverse. Even if the Support Body Housing can improve the quality of youth’s living condition, it is almost ignored in the realty area. Youth residence design should accord with the character of youth’s living behavior and frequently changing of domestic lifecycle. The theory and technique of Support Body Housing is put forward in the research, and the adaptive design method of the youth residence is discussed according to the theory. Firstly, the domestic and overseas research background of the theory and technique of Support Body Housing is analyzed.
