Die Compensation（PAMSTAMP） The Die compensation dialog box This dialog box allows the user to compensate springback effects on the die. The idea is to deform the die (build a false tool deliberately), so the stamped blank sheet gets the right shape after springback. The aim is to obtain the shape of the reference blank (trimmed blank before the springback of initial simulation). Therefore, an initial simulation must be done prior to any compensation process.
