The power supply is directly drawn from the USB interface. The Universal Serial Bus (USB 2.0) interface can be utilized to connect a PC-station, laptop or notebook with a cable. Besides that, a microcomputer or a controller can be used to interface with it. Several amount of optional memory space can be used to store simple data, such as manufacturer’s information, system key, etc. The SV-MRU361v1.0 serial reader also equips 5 bi-colored LED indicators, for the visual effects of the reader operation status. The specialized on-board ASIC enables this reader to offer full support to all the available cards and tags conforming to ISO 14443-A/B, ISO15693, etc. This SV-MRU361v1.0 mifare serial reader offers support to 2 SAM cards to be processed at the same time.
