Abstract
With the in—depth understanding of the importance of Education and development of education
reform,the development of teacher has become a more and more important social issue.at present a new
round course reform had carded out under the background of overall promoting quality education,This
measure is all important part of our country adopt to cope with the future development of the new century
And whether we call achieve the desired goal of curricular reforms,teaching reform is to achieve a new
goal,depending ifour country has a higl,-quality professional training team.
As a big educational province with numerous people,During the new course reform has carried
out for five years in Henan province,the education department hopes to have an integral understanding of
the specialized development of hilgh school biology teachers,as a part of the course reform of teaching
projects in education department.This subject will last for one year,the object is biology teachers in Henan
province,it contains sexuality,ages of teaching,professional title,methods of teaching etc,combining with
economy,politics,geography.We have invested 88 high schools,880 teachers and 45 middle schools,207
teachers.And we have received first-hand information about the professional status of middle school
biology teachers in Henan.
The statistical results were compared in three dimensions:Comparison of the present situation of
specialized status between high school biology teachers and junior high school biology teachers in Henan
Province,County town middle school biology teachers and city school biology teachers,key middle school
biology teachers and Ordinary high school biology teachers.
Main results are as follows:the ratio between male teachers and female teachers in hi【gh is about
2:3,and the rate among young teachers(teaching experience under 5 years),middle aged teachers(teaching

experience between 6 and 25 years)and old teachers(teaching expedence above 25 years)is 3:6:1,The
