PACKAGING AND SHIPPING Tube bundle packaging support area should be rubber made in order to reduce risk of damages on the tubes. The 8 metal protective corners should be loaded on the packaging area support before packaging operation starts. Once all the tubes have been loaded into the bundle packaging support, and its final shape has been reached square-shaped bundle , close the bundle with metal strip, using wooden blocks between the metal strip and the tubes. There must be 4 metal strips per bundle. The tube bundle strapping operation must use metal strip, and should be controlled by means of a pressure sensor or gauge; ideally, the strapping operation should be automated. Once the sensor or gauge would reach a certain value, the machine should stop so no damage would incur to the tubes. Before the bundle is placed in the shipment area, the tubes within the square packaging are wrapped up using 2 fibre bags. One complete packed bundle would consist of 8 protective metal corners, 16 wooden safety blocks two wooden blocks per metal strip and two long fibre bags. Tube bundles must be packed with outer closed material [fiber bag or similar] that avoids direct contact with any substance that may cause corrosion or visual damages during transport and storage. Once the bundle is packed as mentioned previously, it is moved to its storage area using a crate with polyester ropes. This way, no damage should occur during transport. The square-shaped bundles should be kept in the warehouse in proper tube storage racks [cantilever type racks]. If tubes are packed one on top of another, there should be wooden bars to hold it, separate one bundle from another and secure it in position. There are 2 bundles per truck length maximum. During loading operation, for transport purposes, each level of bundles must be separated with a wooden bar that will allow a safe unload operation, reduce damage incidents and enough space for placing the straps needed to lift the bundles at plan
