GENERAL The project consists of five parts: For about 267 km of a single circuit 400 kV, 3-phase, twin AAAC “ASTER 851” conductor disposed horizontally, one optical fiber cable (OPGW) and one galvanized steel shield wires on double circuit, self supporting towers from Wolaita II substation to Akaki II substation; For about 33 km of a single circuit 400 kV, 3-phase, twin AAAC “ASTER 851” conductor disposed horizontally, one optical fiber cable (OPGW) and one galvanized steel shield wires on self supporting towers from Akaki II substation Sebeta II to substation; For about 1.06 km of a double circuit 230 kV, 3-phase, single ACSR “MALLARD” conductor and one galvanized steel shield wire on self supporting towers from Akaki II substation to existing Melaka Wakena – Kaliti double circuit line (with two parallel lines); For about 1.46 km of a double circuit 132 kV, 3-phase, single ACSR “OSTRICH” conductor and one galvanized steel shield wire on self supporting towers from Akaki II substation to existing Koka – Kaliti double circuit line (with two parallel lines); For about 0.85 km of a double circuit 132 kV, 3-phase, single ACSR “OSTRICH” conductor and one galvanized steel shield wire on self supporting from Akaki II substation to existing Koka – Kaliti single circuit line; The quotation is compiled based on above length of the transmission lines. 2. STANDARDS The project design shall be made based on IEC standard. All the electrical elements, materials and equipment shall be manufactured according to IEC standard. 3.
