SF RE :MADE科幻：MADEAIA SF Unbuilt San Francisco Exhibition,San Francisco，旧金山，旧金山友邦保险科幻建筑展览This speculative project was fist exhibited as part of the SF AIA Unbuilt San Francisco exhibition as part of the 2013 Architecture and The City Festival.这种推理性项目是2013年建筑和城市节日分支的旧金山的科幻友邦展览的一部分。Three gigantic structures loom large as some of San Franciscos most prominent waterfront landmarks:Islais Creek Silos,Hunters Point Crane and Candlestick Park stadium.While none are listed on the official list of San Francisco Designated Landmarks,each of these structures-purpose-built in their day but sadly outmoded and/or defunct now-contributes substantially to the character of citys built environment along the Bay.As an alternative to demolishing these structures,IwamotoScotts speculative design proposal seeks to repurpose them through building an their individual typological-functional capabilities.The potential for these structures is explored as to how they might again become proactive participants in the public life of the city ,while tapping into the current resurgence of locally made goods in San Francisco-but here on a much larger scale than wet typically see.三个巨型结构织机和旧金山最著名的海滨地标一样大：Islais溪竖井,猎点起重机和烛台公园体育场。这些建筑虽然在旧金山的官方名单中列出指定地标，但遗憾的是沿着海湾的城市的建筑环境是过时的和（或）已经大幅撰稿的角色。为了代替拆除这些结构,IwamotoScott投机性设计方案寻求重新通过构建一个个人类型的功能。这些结构的潜力是探索如何使他们可能在城市的公共生活再次成为主动的参与者,而利用当前的复苏的国产商品在圣但是在比通常湿看到规模更大。The architectural up-cycling proposed in the SF RE :MADE project returns a scale of making long since vanished in the city-projecting a forward-looking set of new possibilities and second lives for the three structures.The Islais Creek Silos are re-imagined as a Digital Building Construction Institute and Expo,operating as research,production and exhibition facilities for one-to-one scale 3D printed building components.The silos,once storing grain,now store the 3D printing raw material,and house a suite of RD offices,as well as public exhibition galleries treated as three ‘carved-out’ void spaces con
