The writer’s first visit was to a space station considered the most modern in space. 2. What did he see there? He saw thoughtpads, a giant machine always greedy for more waste and the changes that had happened to work practices. 3. How did the space citizens send messages to each other? They used thoughtpads to send each other messages. 4. What happened to the rubbish on the space station? A giant machine swallowed all the rubbish available and turned the rubbish into several grades of useful material so that nothing is wasted and everything , even plastic bags, is recycled. 5. What changes have happened to work practiced? Manufacturing no longer takes place on the earth but on space stations.
