Unit 2 A Busy Weekday Morning 本单元教学目标： Have you ever had difficulty talking to your parents? It is well known around the world that young people and their parents very often seem to fail in their attempts to communicate with each other. It is as if they hear each other, and, not liking what they hear, choose to ignore it. By doing this, they send false messages to each other. As a result, too often, their two different worlds go separate directions or meet head-on, creating what is known as the generation gap. This unit explores that gap: first, through contrasts between how a daughter and her parents experience the same situation, and next, through seeing the situation as the parents see it and, finally, the same situation as two young people understand it.
