Part 2 Dragging Me Down   Stuart: Hey, Lisa! Lisa!   Lisa: Oh, Hey Stuart. Sorry, I didn’t see you there. Stuart: Is everything alright?   Lisa: ①Funny you should ask. Stuart: Is it fair to assume you’re talking about Jan? Lisa: Obviously! She’s supposed to be my BFF, but it’s always as if her issues 2)dwarf everyone else’s. Stuart: That must be frustrating.   Lisa: You have no idea. She’s so unreliable, and never around when I need her. She claims to be someone I can turn to when I’m in need, but it’s all a 3)fa?ade. The only person she cares about is herself.   Smart Sentences   ① Funny you should ask. 问得好。   Funny you should ask: used to indicate the speaker was thinking along the same line as the other person(用以表达说话者也有同样的思路)。例如:   ―Do you think Kelly would be interested in joining us?   你觉得凯莉会不会想加入呢?   ―Funny you should ask.
