HONG KONG BAPTIST UNIVERSITY FINANCE OFFICE MEMO To : All MPF Scheme Members (SCE Part-time Instructors) From : Ms Helen Leung, Secretary to the MPF Advisory Committee Ref : K40 Date : 17 March 2006 Member Survey on the Service of the MPF Scheme Service Provider Members may note that the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Schemes Ordinance came into effect on 1 December 2000. INVESCO Hong Kong Ltd (INVESCO) was appointed the service provider of the MPF Scheme of the University (the Scheme) since its inception. The University has established a MPF Advisory Committee (the Committee) in April 2001 to monitor the services provided by INVESCO as well as their investment performance. The Committee reviewed the performance of INVESCO in April 2004. After that review, the Committee agreed that the appointment of INVESCO should continue and be reviewed again two years later, i.e. in April 2006. Among other things, opinions of Scheme members are one of the most important inputs in the review. We would like to seek your assistance in completing the attached questionnaire and returning it to your SCE Learning Centre on or before 7?April?2006. The data collected will be used solely to compile the review report for consideration by the Committee.
