* Ask participants to look at the TruthSeekers Teacher’s Guide visuals book that they received in their resource kit and follow along. * You may want to enlarge the posters on poster board if your club is large. * Slide 33: 30 minutes You, or someone else, should be well prepared to do a demonstration of Lesson 11. This will help participants to see/understand what a Truth Seekers Bible lesson should be like. Make sure the lesson is no longer than 20 minutes. Before giving the sample lesson, review the questions for critiquing a lesson on this slide. After the sample lesson, have the students evaluate the demonstration using these questions. * 10 minutes * Slides 35-38: 15 minutes Catch-Up Lessons * The lessons in the TruthSeekers Catch-Up Lesson book are made up of combined, condensed, TruthSeekers lessons that will teach the clubbers some of the important truths which they have missed; truths that are used to lay a foundation for the gospel message. * Using the Catch-Up Lesson book and Awana Cards, demonstrate what the Catch-Up teacher would do when a new clubber arrives at club on the second week of club. Then demonstrate what a Catch-Up teacher would do when a new clubber arrives on the fifth week of Awana Club. * The later in the year the children start club the more catch-up lessons they will need—three at the most. If new children continue coming to club, you will need more than one catch-up lesson teacher. * Slide 39: 30 minutes Divide into teams to assign positions and divide the duties for teaching the assigned lessons on day of practice. If the team color groups are large, you may want to subdivide them into group A and group B so that they can all participate. You may also choose to divide your lesson so that two teachers can share teaching the lesson on practice day. Allow teams 25 minutes to prepare their lesson. In the large group, discuss questions any of the teams may have about the day of practice for the last 5 minutes. *
