Review new words and expressions which learned last time, and ask some students to make sentences in them.

Creat a dialog with your partner according to the given situation.

Teaching Steps
Step 1. Revision
Review new words and expressions which learned last time, and ask some students to make sentences in them.
Give students a piece of paper with Chinese words on it, and ask them to write down the English words. Each time 20 new words, if they get at least 18 words right, then they pass it, if less than 18 words right, they fail.
Step 2: Speaking Out

Teaching tips:
The underlined parts in Model 1 and 2 show ways to express congratulations, and those in the table in Model 3 are examples of showing sympathy.
Allow students to do the repletion activity in pairs, or as a whole class.
If time allows, have students continue the role-play by changing roles. Encourage students to use their real names to act out their parts.

Teaching tips:
The two expressions for each blank are similar in meaning. Ask students to pay attention to them and learn to use both of them.
