Objective of course and basic request of teaching 1.1 Objective of course Histology is a science, which studies the microstructure of the human body and the relationship between the body’s structure and functions. Embryology is another science, which studies the development of an organism from the fertilized egg to the all major- organ systems formed and the possible cause of birth defects. Histology and Embryology are a basic course of medicine, which is conformed by two interconnecting sciences. The course is instructed with the standpoint of dialectical materialism. The teaching procedure is carried out in the doctrine of self-study under the instruction of teacher. The student is demanded to grasp the microstructure of cells, tissues and organs, and to comprehend its correlative function. The procedure of embryonic development and the reason of main deformation are comprehended. The foundations of necessary morphology are provided for medical student to study further other basic medical course and clinical medical course.
