Green House and Human Future During the past decade, the majority of people do believe that global warm is not a big deal. However, things go contrary to our wishes and nature has taken revenge on us human. Today some scientists feel that the increasing concentration of carbon dioxide in the air resulting from the burning fossil fuels like coal and oil is creating a “greenhouse effect” —— holding in heat reflected from the earth and raising the world’s average temperature. Besides, according to recent years’ recording, whlile the world’s average temperature is rising, extreme climates such as storm, floods, droughts happen frequently in some areas. Moreover, much of the polar ice is melting and cities near the coast is at the risk of being under water. If such a tendency keeps going on as what it is at present, the doomsday will not be far from us. But ironically, it’s a paradox between the developing of economy and the burning of carbon, which is, we say, a dilemma to those promising developing countries. Personally, it’s high time that all humans and each nation should hold together to face the global crisis while the developed countries should take responsibility to be the pattern to follow.And definitely, God won’t allow us to make the Noah’s Ark to survive the doomsday if it came. After all, the Ark only exists in the Bible. * *
