English as a reqiured course throughout my high school years in China
English was a required course throughout my high school years in China, and the class was essential. What I learned in the class was English vocabulary, grammar, and composition which laid a solid foundation for me to command the language.
Moreover, English class is inspiring, for one thing, it is an open eye, helping me understand the western culture, particularly movies and music as both the lyrics and lines make more sense to me. for another thing , it will provide me more opportunities to get a good job in the future.
The holiday I enjoy celebrating is the Spring Festival.
First, the Spring Festival is about reunion, no matter how far away you are , you go home at the Spring Festival, having dinner with your family and friends. People are smiling, places are decorated and songs like”happy new year” are heard everywhere.It is the most wonderful time of the year.
Second, the Spring Festival is the best time for children , they can wear new clothes and get money from their parents as a gift.
Third, the Spring Festivals is about shopping. You can get many good deals in the shopping mall.
If I had a chance, I’d like to visit Las Vagas, a place that is sleepless, romantic and entertaining.
First, I’d visit the dazzling casinos. If I was lucky, I would win some money, if not, I’d experience the atmosphere and have some fun.
Second, I’d watch some fantastic shows, such as dancing,singing,and magic shows. plus, since Vagas is one of the most popular distinctions for tourists, tremendous promotion packages are available .Not only I could get a good airfare, but also hotels and car rental’s deals.
The person who has influenced my life is my mother.
First , she is well educated and keep an open mind ,her thinking is modern, so that she understand people from different generations .
Second, she is a good listener. for example, when I quarreled with my classmates, she was patient to listen to my complaint and gave me some suggestions.
