浅谈“包”的多义项英译 齐永丽 （杭州师范大学 外国语学院 浙江 杭州 310036） 摘要：一词多义是语言中普遍存在的语言现象，通过隐喻，转喻及意象图式等对字词的基本义进行的扩充和延展极大丰富和扩大了字词的内涵和外延。从文化交流的角度来讲，对于有多个不同但又相互联系义项的多义词，如何进行确切的翻译呢？本文试从语言的可译性，一词多义的深层原因为前提对汉字包的多义项进行英译，并从“包”的多义项英译结果来窥探由此体现的英汉语言文化差异。 关键词：可译性，一词多义，多义项英译 The study on the polysemous English translations of the Chinese character “包”Abstract: The language phenomenon of polysemy exists universally in many languages. and the word meaning is extended by Metonymy and Metaphor and also Image Schema.
