Intercultural communication is becoming more and more multicultural. The fact is that people from different nations communicate in different ways (Eunson,2005,p.457). The interpreter does not simply translate ‘words to words’, as different languages are different worlds, sometimes he/she needs to translate concepts and ideas from one cultural context into another (Laster and Taylor,1994,p.114). If there is no linguistic equivalent, the interpreter should brief or to provide explanation and clarification. The interpreter is to behave in an unobtrusive, professional manner and to be complete (leaving nothing out), impartial and accurate. Professional interpreters are trained and bound by a professional code of ethics.
