Let’s start with a brief introduction of our destination--The Former Site of the Military Government is located at the southern end of Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge in Wuchang Town.On the southern of Shouyi Road , northern of Yuema Square , there stands a red house . Because its red walls and tiles , residents in Wuhan kindly called it Red Building . The Red Building was set up in 1910. In the Qing Dynasty , a lot of uprisings led by Dr.Sun broke out in China . To save its reign of China , the Qing Government began to learn from western countries and train new troops here and there. Originally the square was a place where the Qing Dynasty trained its troops in Hubei Province . Later Wuchang uprising troops occupied it and used it as their own military reviewing square .
