In order to make Shanghai Disneyland hits the jackpot, there are many social and cultural environmental elements should we take into consideration. Shanghai is the most populous city in China. As a global city, Shanghai exerts influence over commerce, finance, culture, art, fashion, research and entertainment. The city is a tourist destination renowned for its historical landmarks and its modern. Our purpose is to make the Shanghai Disneyland to be another symbol of Shanghai, and to be the first choice of those tourists, just as the Oriental Pearl Tower. In Shanghai the modern architecture is notable for its unique style. The bulk of Shanghai buildings being constructed today are high-rise apartments of various height, color and design. As Disney Theme Park is a place where children can dream with their fantasy and adults can recall their memory of childhood. It is a world of fairy tale and a world for families to enjoy the time together. There is now a strong focus by city planners to develop more green areas (public parks) among the apartment complexes in order to improve the quality of life for Shanghais residents, in accordance to the Better City – Better Life theme of Shanghais Expo 2010. So the Disneyland hit this point rightly. Continuing with its usual style but getting some improvement would be the better. Because it is built in China, the style shoud accord to our history and background. For example, we should use the red color in the bulidings.
