The entire work is composed of the analysis on the falling process of the plane, the estimation of the debris drifting and the division of the search domain. Firstly, a series of integral-differential equations are set up based on the dynamics analysis to investigate the falling process of various types of planes. Meanwhile, the forced landing process is studied as well based on the time-velocity equations. And the initial crashed domain in the open water is calculated.Then, the possible domain of the plane debris in an ocean is estimated based on the simplified ocean current model optimized by the distribution of current velocity. The debris will be drived farther under the effect of ocean current, while the figure of the initial debris domain will be modified at the same time. Two kinds of currents are considered in this model to simulate the change of possible domain of debris.After estimating the search domain, we finally use the triangulation algorithm to calculate the boundary of every mission domain and propose an improved hybrid parallel line-triangle meshing algorithm to reduce the turning times of the search flights, so that the searching route can be optimized. It is shown that the proposed models are feasible and robust. Moreover, the efficiency is better than the common methods such as the normal distribution.
