社团建立刍议 辽宁省实验中学北校区初中部英语演讲与辩论社团 English public speaking debate League of Liao ning province Shiyan middle school (junior middle school in the north section) 一、社团宗旨 The aim of the English public speaking debate League 英语演讲与辩论社团的宗旨是：Through debate and public speaking the oral English and logical way of thinking of the students’ will be improved; the horizon will be broadened; the spirit will be enlightened. It will enable them to think and judge in real situations by means of English, by the way, their will find confidence when communicate or deliver a speech. This League will fully take the role of students’ second class, in this way, a common ground will be established for the students to give them a chance to know and learn from each other and gain friendship there. 通过辩论、演讲等活动形式加强社员的英语口语表达能力和逻辑思辨能力、开阔社员视野，启迪社员心智。学会用英语思维，增强英语实战能力，增加成员英语表达的自信。英语演讲与辩论社团充分发挥学生第二课堂作用，让成员们在英语口语交流中互相了解，建立友谊，为热爱英语的同学搭建交流平台。 二、社团常规活动 Regular activities of League 1、社团活动时间 Time for activities -------- 2、活动地点 Place for activities -------- 3、三分钟演讲 (three minutes presentation)： Making English speech is the employ of the art of speaking in English. The members will learn how to deliver an English speech and to debate in English under the instruction of the League. The students will be provided with interest-arousing topics in their three minutes’ presentations at the beginning of the class everyday so that their strategy of making a speech will be perfected and their vocabulary will snowball as well. 4、辩论赛：English debate contest 通过教师的辩论指导，观看辩论比赛录像，培养成员的英语辩论水平和团体合作能力，同时组织一定的辩论赛使学生掌握英语辩论技能。With the instructions of teachers and the watch of the debate contest videos, the members’ debate know-how and group work spirit will be cultivated. 5、户内外英语角：Outdoor and Indoor English corner 活动内容丰富多彩，如：组织社员观看英文电影，小组讨论，阅读英文版经典名著，设计英语猜词，接龙等小游戏，还可邀请外教参与口语交流等，目的是让社员们在活动中愉快地学英语，自信地讲英语。In order to let students get a good sense of English and speak it confidently.
