The students will be able to learn to read the text, using such strategies as skimming scanning predicting and summarizing. 3. The students will be able to have a better understanding of the text. 4. The students will be able to understand and use some important words and expressions. Ⅲ. Teaching focus: 1. To use different strategies to understanding the text. 2. To tell the advantages and disadvantages of inventions of the 31st century.
