It is also regarded as one of the four major Summer Holiday Destinations in China. The beautiful beach of Beidaihe was designated to be Summer Imperial Retreat destination in 1898 during Qing Dynasty. In the early 50’s, Beidaihe was chosen to be summer office and retreat destination for Chinese Central Government; In 1999,
