2 Presentation
(1) Review the fruit in the singular and plural form
T shows the picture of the fruit and asks Ss to say
the fruit in the singular and plural form.
an apple ----- apples
an orange ----- oranges
a grape ----- grapes
a watermelon ----- watermelons
a banana ----- bananas
a pear ----- pears
a strawberry ----- strawberries
(2) Teach Where is / are the ... ?
T shows the picture of the fruit shop. Ss can act as the customers and ask the salesman the position of the fruit with the sentence: Where is / are the ...?
S: Where is the apple/ pear/ watermelon?
Mr. Deer: Its here.
S: Where are the grapes / bananas / oranges / strawberries?
Mr. Deer: Theyre here.
(3) Teach Look! So much fruit!
T: Look, there are much fruit on the shelf. Let’s add some more.
T shows more fruit on the shelf.
T: Look! So much fruit!
T teaches Look! So much fruit!
(4) Teach I am .... I can get the .....
a. T asks Ss to act as the different animals. Ss can describe themselves and say what fruit they can get.
Deer: I am tall. I can get the grapes.
