Globalization Increases Poverty and Inequality Abstract 　　【Abstract】Nowadays， globalization has become a hot topic. Under the push of globalization， people’s lives have changed a lot： countries transforms from “introverted” into “open” and residents begin to accept things from foreign countries. With the globalization， people’s lives have changed a lot and many impossible things can come true easily. However， is globalization a good thing or a bad thing？ Does it increase poverty and inequality？ As far as I am concerned， I think it has two coins， it increases poverty and inequality. 　　1.Economic globalization 　　With the development of science and technology， the economic globalization had been born and now it is developing in a rapid speed. During 20 years， economic globalization has become the main stream of the world. Under the decrease of trade barrier and rapid growth of merchandise trade， economic globalization has resulted in many businesses setting up or buying operations in other countries. 　　2.Economic globalization caused poverty and inequality 　　Why does economic globalization increase poverty and inequality？ According to Eric S. Maskin， he thinks productivity is the main factor. He supposes that there are 2 countries： developed country and developing country. There are also 4 workers： worker A and worker B are in the developed country and worker C and worked D are in the developing country.
