But I don’t know how to use it yet . 但是我不知道怎样使用它。 how to use it 是带有疑问词的不定式在句子中作know的宾语，特殊疑问代词Who，What，Which和特殊疑问副词When，Where，how等后加动词不定式构成动词不定式短语，可在句中作主语、宾语、表语等成份。例如： （1）When to start is still a question . 何时动身尚未决定。 （2）I don’t know where to go . 我不知道去哪儿。 （3）I can’t decide which one to buy . 我不能决定买哪一个。 疑问词和不定式连用作宾语时，可把这种结构改为一个宾语从句，从而把简单句改为复合句，其意义不变。如： （4）He didn’t know how to do it . 他不知道怎样做。= He didn’t know how he would do it . （5）You’d better ask when to have the party . = You’d better ask when we will have the party . 你最好问问我们什么时候举办晚会。 2. I have to learn to use it all by myself . 我不得不独自学习使用它。 learn … by oneself意为“自学”by oneself在句中作状语，前面可加all来加强语气。同义词组为teach oneself … 例如： （1）I learn English all by myself . = I teach myself English . 我自学英语。 （2）Did you learn to swim by yourself = Did you teach yourself to swim ? 你自学的游泳吗？ 一般情况，当句子的主语和宾语是同一人时，我们常用反身代词，作宾语，例如： （3）Help yourselves to some bananas . 请随便吃些香蕉吧。 （4）He can’t look after himself now . 他现在不能自己照顾自己。 3. It makes me very sad when I think of my little dog’s death . 当我想起我的小狗的死，我就非常伤心。 （1）make + 宾语+宾补表示“可以使宾语怎么样”其中宾语补足语可以是名词、副词、形容词、动词原形等。例如： ① His gift made me very happy . 他的礼物令我非常高兴。 ② We made him Chairman . 我们选他当主席。 ③ The teacher made the boy copy the new words twice . 老师让那个男孩抄两遍生词。 （2）sad在句中用作形容词，意为“悲伤的、悲哀的”如： sad people 悲伤的人们；a sad film令人伤心的电影。 sad的副词为sadly，名词为sadness。 4. My friends all went to the Summer Palace , but I didn’t join them . 我的朋友都去了颐和园，但我没有和他们一起去。 join用作及物动词时： （1）表示加入、参加（某团体、组织或人群）例如： ① He joined the army last year . 他去年参军了。 ② Will you join us in a walk ? 你跟我们一起散步吗？ （2）表示“连接、结合” ③ Join the two ends of the tape . 把胶带两端连接起来。 ④ They joined two islands with a bridge . 他们用一座桥把两个岛连起来。 join用作不及物动词时表示“加入”，如： ⑤ May I join in the game ? 我可以参加这个游戏吗？ ⑥ Why doesn’t Tom join in the football match ? 汤姆为什么不参加足球赛呢？ 5.
