I’m going to talk about Unit 3 of Book 2--- Have you ever done a part-time job? Listening and speaking part. I’ll talk about my lesson from seven parts: Part One Analysis of the Teaching Materials 1. Teaching contents The content of the lesson is the first class of Unit3 “Have you ever done a part-time job? ”in 《Basic English Two》, including two parts “Lead-in Listening and speaking”. 2.Important and Difficult Points ⑴ Important Points ---To enable Ss to master some words and phrases about expressing abilities, character and experience ---Ss can make some basic dialogue in the situation of interview. ⑵ Difficult Points ---How to combine “listening” with “speaking” successfully ---Encourage Ss to speak as much as possible Part Two Analysis of the students Most of the students in vocational school are poor at English, and their vocabulary is very limited. So they ‘re too shy to speak English in class. But they’re young and full of vigor [v?g?]活力, and they’re eager to show themselves. The most important thing is to inspire their interest in English and design easy task for them to do in class. It can help the students to rebuild their confidence in English learning. Part Three Teaching aims and aids Teaching aims 1. Knowledge objects ⑴ to master the following words and phrases: such as: salesperson; secretary; part-time; applicant; creative; strong points; speak fluent English; have good communication skills; ⑵ to master the following sentence patterns: Asking for the information about personal experience, talents and the reason of interview. 2.
