Module 4　A Social Survey－My neighborhood 第一课时 一、教材分析 Introduction about Xiamen city. Ss will get to know its location, climate and other information. 二、教学目标 1.知识与能力目标 1）Get the students to learn and grasp the following important useful new words and expressions in the part 2）Students can get the details by reading and guessing in the context in pairs. 2.过程与方法目标 1) Improve the Ss’ ability in reading. 2) Train the Ss to grasp the mean idea of the text and can analysis the compound sentences. 3.情感态度与价值观目标 Students will feel more confident and prouder of their hometown. 三、教学重点 1.
