Charlottee Bronte Charlotte Bronte (April 21,1816-March 31,1855) was an English novelist.Her mother died when she was young.She lived a poor life with her father and three sisters.Her father often read story books for her so she had much interest in writing since she was a child.Though Jane Eyre is not an autobiography,it expresses the authors life and feelings to some degree. Main works Novel: 1847: Jane Eyre 1849: Shirley 1853: Villette 1857: The Professor Verse: 1835: From Retrospection 1846: Poems by Currer,Ellis and Acton Bell The novel goes through five distinctive stages: 1.Janes childhood.She is emotionally abused by her aunt and cousins.She is isolated and powerless but she survives. 2.Her education experience at Lowood School,where she acquires friends and role models.She distinguishes herself but also suffers privations. 3.Her time as the governess of Thornfield Manor,where she falls in love with her employer,Eward Rochester. 4.Her time with the Rivers family at Marshs End,where her cold cousin puts forward marriage proposal to her. 5.Bythe end of this novel,she has become a powerful,independent woman and she married Rochester. When nobody love you,you are more supposed to love yourself. When we look back at Janes early life,we find she is really miserable.She is bullied by her aunt and cousins.She cant get the love from parents as other kids.But she tell herself when nobody love you,you are more supposed to love yourself.So she perserves her pursuit to warmth and eventually she obtians happiness and find a soul mate.
